Monhegan on Location with Marguerite Lawler

5/22-5/25 | Friday - Monday | 3 nights at Monhegan House
Monhegan Island is the perfect place to explore your art-making processes without interruption or the distractions of everyday life. The workshop will focus on exercises to sharpen your observational, perceptual, and narrative skills as an artist while working in the medium of your choice. Each session and critique are designed for the specific assignments and goals.
Morning sessions include on-site demonstrations by the instructor and individual consultation. Afternoon sessions are independent with optional daily critiques geared towards the goals of the assignment.
There is a lot of hiking involved and students are invited to work in the medium of their choice. All supplies should fit in your backpack.
