"Why Me?: The Voter and The Power to Remake the Republic" at Joanne Waxman Library

Why Me?: The Voter and The Power to Remake the Republic, an exhibition at the Joanne Waxman Library features the historical fiction pieces written by students who participated in Professor John Portlock's "History of the Vote" class. Students crafted stories that focused on the significance and power of voting in America. Drawing from their studies, they’ve brought to life narratives centered on key characters throughout history on election day. The exhibition also features an audio piece created by the students.

Participating students will read excerpts from their pieces on Thursday, October 17 at 12:30pm.
