The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program is wrapping up its Summer Institute this week, which began on July 29th. Throughout the course, the teacher candidates have been deeply engaged in reflecting on big-picture ideas in education, exploring their philosophy of art education and creative practice, and becoming oriented within Maine's professional education and art education community.
The cohort has bonded during the Summer Institute, creating a strong foundation for the journey ahead. They have built relationships by collaborating on lessons and engaging in creative and reflective group projects. Welcome, MAT class of 2025!
