MECA&D Shows Its Pride

Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni walk in Portland Pride March

For the second year in a row, Maine College of Art & Design walked in the Pride Portland Parade. The parade celebrated Portland’s LGBTQ+ community and its allies. MECA&D is proud to be part of the rich history of the LGBTQIA+ community in Maine and across the world.

The parade passed through downtown Portland, marching beneath the MECA&D Pride Window Murals, designed by BFA students Sawyer Strouth, Hunter Hamilton, Grim Medina, and Jai Santoro.
