Bianca Beck is an artist whose work begins with the body—from imagined internal spaces to explorations of identity and expression. Beck earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2001 and an MFA from Yale University in 2008 and is based in Portland, Maine.
Their work has been featured in The New York Times, Art in America, Artforum, Afterall, and Galerie Magazine. Beck’s work is in the permanent collections of the Dallas Art Museum, Ulrich Museum, and the Rachofsky Collection, and is currently on view at Art Omi Sculpture Park and Summit Public Art. They have exhibited internationally at venues including DeCordova Sculpture Park, V1 Gallery (Copenhagen), Misako & Rosen (Tokyo), Brand New Gallery (Milan), FLAG Art Foundation, White Columns, Cheim & Read, Rachel Uffner Gallery (New York), and ICA at MECA&D.
