Erin Murphy is a documentary filmmaker and educator based in Portland, Maine. She is currently in post-production on her first feature-length documentary, WAZO:IDEA. Her film is a collaboration with the members of Kesho Wazo, a youth-activist art collective. Her work has screened at the Maine International Film Festival, the Rochester International Film Festival, the Big Muddy Film Festival, and on MPBN. As a freelancer, Erin has shot and produced over 20 short documentaries for clients in Maine and Massachusetts. She is also a visiting instructor at Colby College and teaches courses on documentary filmmaking and digital storytelling.
