Lorin Brown

Lorin Brown is a designer, illustrator, and educator whose work spans branding, illustration, and digital media. He earned his BFA from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where he later returned as faculty, and has also taught at Pratt Institute.

Through his studio, Intents & Purposes, he develops branding and identity projects that balance clarity with cultural resonance. His work draws from interests in music, fashion, and comedy, resulting in a range of work that reflects the energy and rhythm of contemporary culture. In the classroom, he focuses on curiosity and collaboration, helping students build their own voice while learning how design connects to the world around them.
